Welcome to Riverfield School for the 2016-17 school year! Riverfield is a vibrant community with great students, families, and staff. As principal, I will continue to work closely with the staff, students, and families to ensure that every student reaches their full potential!
Our building is finally completed! We are so fortunate to have a new facility with added classroom space and many new security systems. I appreciate all of the families, staff, students and volunteers who assisted us in making the “NEW” Riverfield a reality!

Our All School Book this year will be Little Tree by Loren Long. It is a story about a tree who will not let go of his leaves in the fall. The message in the book is about having the courage to let go so that you can grow. This is a wonderful lesson for our students to consider as they work to learn new skills, meet new friends, and grow as individuals.
Finally, please be sure to check your Infinite Campus account often to stay updated on our school events. If you are a member of the P.T.A., you will receive an email blast every Monday from the P.T.A. outlining our upcoming events.
The staff of Riverfield works diligently to provide students with rigorous and enjoyable learning activities. We all pride ourselves on focusing on students first and working with them to give them the tools to grow into the best human beings possible. We love our school community and hope you will contribute to our work to keep our school improving and thriving.
I am honored to be your leader!
Ms. Brenda Anziano
